Re-designing the Ramen Experience (ME 377: Experiences in Innovation & Design)
Skills applied:
Understanding & Observing, Synthesizing, Point-of-View, Ideating, Prototyping, User testing, Contextual inquiry
My task for this week-long class project was to re-design the ramen noodle experience and come up with a few prototypes. My research process included interviewing ramen noodle restaurant managers, clerks at grocery stores that stock ramen, and observing and interviewing participants as they made and ate ramen noodles. I then synthesized my findings and brainstormed ideas of how to design a better ramen noodle cup. I created prototypes and tested my prototypes with users and gathered feedback. The idea of the project was to create quick prototypes that we can easily iterate upon rapidly.
